SUPERCORREXPO Atlanta

According to TAPPI President Larry N. Montague more than 5,000 industry representatives from more than 50 countries preregistered and many more were registered on-site. For exhibitors, SuperCorrExpo is more than just a sales opportunity. The ratio of machinery per square foot may indeed make this one of the largest corrugated container industry show in the world as 316 exhibitors occupy about 130,000 sq ft of floor space. It is also interesting to note that approximately 2.3 million pounds of freight arrived at the hall, making this exhibition one of the top five “most dense” shows ever held at the Georgia World Congress Center. The event actually kicked off two days earlier with a two-day Lean Manufacturing
course which was taught by Dick Target, On Target Consultants on Saturday and Sunday. Both TAPPI and AICC, who are co-hosting the exposition, held their annual meetings at the Georgia World Congress Center in conjunction with the exposition. Over 90,000 sq. ft. of space has already been sold for the next SuperCorrExpo event, so mark your calendars for Oct 1-5, 2012 in Atlanta!
